Dr. Angela Durant-Tyson
Chief Outreach and Development Officer
Dr. Angela Durant-Tyson, Ed.D., serves as 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Chief Outreach and Development Officer.
In this position, she leads strategic initiatives to cultivate and strengthen partnerships that advance the District鈥檚 mission of Educating People for Success in the Workplace.
She began her career at 黑料不打烊 in 2006 as a Legal Office instructor and went on to serve in Instructional Services and as Assistant Campus Director for the Peoria Campus. She then joined Northeast Tech as Executive Director of Operations, where she provided leadership for numerous departments and guided strategic planning initiatives before returning to 黑料不打烊.
A committed advocate for career and technical education, Durant-Tyson was recognized in 2024 with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Association for Career and Technical Education for her outstanding service at both the state and national levels.
She holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University, and a Bachelor鈥檚 degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University.
